How to test/run JavaScript to see if it works

Jeff Ward || Developement

I was puzzled for a long time on this one, and I am sure others are too. If you have some JavaScript code that you would like to test, there are a few ways you can do it.

Make sure your JavaScript is correct Syntax wise.  To do so I use a tool called JSFiddle.  I could never get it to actually execute in JSFiddle, but what it does help you with is troubleshooting where your code my be incorrect.  Click ‘Hint’ and small red dots will appear on the left hand side and you can use those to diagnose and correct your Syntax.  Screen Shot 2015-06-16 at 7.57.12 PM
