Back in 2009, about a year after the App Store launched, I started playing around with on iOS and Objective C. I purchased a Macbook and signed up to the Apple Developer program and started diving into the examples and tutorials.
I started working on a game based on the UK gameshow Countdown – specifically the Number Game.
For those of you unfamiliar, Countdown is a classic UK show which pitches 2 opponents against each other solving anagrams, forming words from random letters, and my favourite – the numbers game – trying to reach the target number with 6 random numbers and basic arithmetic.
