A new data center will make its way to Alabama powered by Google.

Google Inc the search engine giant has plans to establish a new data center in The Alabama United States near the coal power plant. The data center is likely to be established at the Jackson County, AL and is likely to cost almost $600 million for construction and will result in 100 more jobs for the local residents.

The location chosen for the data center is basically a Widows Creek Power Plant site that was meant to retire soon. This power plant was operational under the Tennessee Valley Authority. The construction on this site actually took place during the 1950s. this site previously was considered as one of the most important power producers in the United States region where many individuals were hired as employees.
